Whenever I find my self struggling, I always return to the beautiful words Paul wrote to the Church in Rome.
God's love never leaves us, even when we feel unlovable, or alone, or despairing.
God calls us back to his heart with gentleness and compassion.
When everything else is taken from us, His steadfast love endures forever.
'"For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord"
(Romans 8:38-39).
